Default New Inn

Thanks for your interest in Duncan's Moggi I have thanked him on behalf of the group, I have had Reebs (Paul) change the date on the thread to read 20th November for our next meeting, as I said it was a good meeting and looking forward to the next one.
I have sent pictures to Teflon and I am sure he will publish them for us soon.
Regards all

Johns son turned up with his Morris Minor, not just any old Morris Minor, suped up with a Cossie! Engine, a credit to him.

James if you read this your car was beautiful, I don't know what colour it was, it was not Moonstone, if you can get the code from the door pillar we can get an exact match.

Hi Jules, Many thanks for your kind words about my car

You had me worried yesterday when you said it wasn't Moonstone - I thought I must have been loosing the plot - again !!!! - but no, I checked at the door pillar ( Paint : HES ) and then on the web-site last night and yes it is Moonstone Green.

So I can only think, maybe those that thought they had Moonstone Green in the past might just have had some other colour.

I also found out that my car was number 1304 out of only 1376 2.0 V6's ever made - so quite a late one really. Of those, only 141 were made in Moonstone Green. I just wonder how many of those in Moonstone Green were Connoisseur SE in auto, with sunroof and the personal line, Deep Sea Green Leather. Not many I suspect - makes me think it is probably quite a rare car ??!! - and to think I let you view it without charging !!!!!!!!!!!! -lol -James

Hi James .
A brilliant piece of detective work, it just didn't look like Moonstone, no matter what you have a lovely looking car.

Talk to you soon.

Some nice photos here from John. I particularly like the Morris Minor - would never have guessed what was under the bonnet. How it was all made to fit, I'll never know.
