Morning all, It's one of those cold damp Autumnal mornings, Most of the snowfoam from yesterdays car wash is still on the ground

That's a great comparison Jeff, thanks for that. I have to admit the only time my DSLR sees the light of day is when I use the tele lens to take some photos of birds on the feeders.

I was surfing YouTube last night and came across this. Gary Moore concert from way back in 1984 where Phil Lynott makes a guest appearance and they perform Parisienne Walkways together. Stunning

Afternoon Steve.

I use mine all day long for work so it's quite nice to put it down and use the phone instead.
It has limitations but so long as you work within those they make excellent shooters.

As they say, the best camera you can ever have is the one you've got with you

Typical! Washer full of laundry & it's started tipping it down.

Yeah, wouldn't make a great impression if you turned up to a photo shoot and pulled a mobile out of your pocket! I do use the DSLR occasionally, trouble is I have to pre plan it and charge the batteries first.

Phone arrived already, less than 24 hours! I love setting up a new phone Operations were complicated by a tiny Wren flying into the kitchen! Dunno how it got in, door was only open enough to let the girls potter in and out. Couldn't catch it like with the other small birds that get in, it wasn't having any of that, had to chase it towards the fully open door.

It seems that East Anglia had over 4000 lightning strikes yesterday! We saw a few here and filled the empty 40 gallon) rainwater butts in one evening. I'd just cleaned all the windows, so sorry folks, it was my fault! Night all.
