Airbag connections
I'll be changing the airbag connections under the seats soon. Can I solder the wires to the new pins?

Cannot see any reason why they can't be soldered.
Maybe best to disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes before you play with airbag components, I had not had any go off but better to be safe. |

I coated my connectors with Vaseline as everytime I moved the passenger seat the airbag light came on. Since smearing these with the Vaseline, I have tested it several times by moving the seat back and forth and the light stays out.
Time will tell, but the Vaseline trick might be worth a go before you chop the connectors off, if of course you haven't tried this already.
