I know the guy that owns this, he bought it to reshell his Tomcat that’s been off the road for a while. Its sad if it’s now sitting outside as it used to be inside, I thought he had a unit with it in?

I'm not sure how much insurance reshelling goes on nowadays - with bodyshop hourly labour rates, the ever increasing complexity of modern cars and the fact that a bare shell shipped over on a boat takes up the same space as a complete new car (but with far less profit for the manufacturer) I'd say it's a dying trade, unless the shell is sourced from the UK of course.
Years ago, I seem to remember the approved way to show a legitimate 'trail' for DVLA, Police, etc. was to cut the chassis number from the damaged shell and weld it alongside the number stamped in the new shell. That way, there was full tracability of what had gone on
