You weren’t far wrong!

Initially he said he would take payment in instalments, but yesterday he asked for the final payment on fitting the lower bridge onto 2 posts he had drilled and screwed in, so it was a triple whammy.

It had been painful removing the temporary bridge and he said couldn’t numb the gums, because in order to get the bite correct, I had to feel where the new teeth were……, what a joker.

I don’t drink but as soon as I got home, out came a bottle of JW which I used as a mouth wash to numb the gums, which certainly helped.

Cool

Afternoon everyone. It’s been wet and cold all day. Managed to get some work done on the Lotus, should be finished by this time next year.

Had to pop out to the shops, running short on some Jammy Roo.

Nice chuck of rump steak, roast pots and fairy cabbages for tea.

Watching the ruby.

Hi all,

It's been a nice sunny and bright day today. Would have been a nice day to be on the boat but hey ho, work first!

Glad to hear Maya is much improved today Steve

Todays bathroom progress....

Shower and screen installed. Wall cabinet and other fixtures and fittings installed. New lighting installed. Just the towel radiator, floor tiles and bath panels to go. Our builder is on another job next week but hopefully back to finish off the following week

Still well short of her usual self but the drop in temperature was a relief, dropped from over 40 to just over 39. She on anti inflammatory liquid that gets squirted into her mouth (wasn't impressed with that!) and half an antibiotic tablet twice a day, just as well its half, like bleedin' horse pills!

She was perkier taking her to the vet earlier, showing interest in what was going on around her, not like last night.

Great news Steve, hopefully not too long before a full recovery then.
