Default Pulsing

Hi i am new to this forum so forgive me if i am not going the proper route. I have recently purchased a MGZT rover 75 diesel estate. I had the aircon regassed and shortly afterwards i have starting getting a pulsing when idleing and this stops when i press the econ button. Could anyone give me an idea what this might be and anywhere for repairs.

Hello, and welcome to the club. I'm sure you will find lots of very knowledgeable people willing to provide good advice when you need it.

I get something similar with mine, and have always assumed it is due to the air conditioning switching itself on and off as the internal temperature fluctuates above and below the desired level. You don't notice it when moving, but when the engine is idling it speeds up a little to power the AC when it comes on.

Having said that, I don't claim to be an expert and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

What is actually pulsing - engine speed, engine cooling fan, or the heater fan?

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
