One combination which might work on the 75 is black and grey, which looked good on some of the more up-market cars of the 50s and 60s, but I can't imagine any other combination looking good on our cars.
MG Rover offered a Black over Grey Duotone but again none were made.

Nothing wrong with two colours - but the car has to be designed to take two colours. eg the MGA was - the MGB wasn't. And neither was the Rover 75. Shame - but they tend to look like a motley collection of body parts in the two colours.

If you own a Raven Black car that has scuffed bumpers, that wouldn't be that expensive to have done!

I had a quote of £800 to paint the bottom half.

However, for that price the paint shop wanted the chrome trim, door handles, bumpers, fuel cap, and parking sensors removing by myself, in order to paint them seperately.

I'd like to see some photoshops of 75's with darkers bottoms and lighter tops as I think they'd look OK.

But hard to be sure until seen.
