MGR John
Been to meet MGR John today for those of us in the NorthEast.
Guy seems very knowledgeable and very passionate about 75s and ZTs. Should have the car back tomorrow with a nice fresh rear sill on the drivers side and some cozy new suspension. Just in time for an MOT of Monday. Must admit this car has already cost me more than I paid for it but I still love it. Think it's certainly going to be a keeper. |

What John doesn't know about 75's is, well, zilch. He has 30 years experience of working on them and their predecessors, during which time he has also amassed a huge stock of used Rover parts from vehicles he has dismantled over the years.
I too have spent more on my car than it cost, with all work done by John. Last edited by Annfield-East; 6th May 2021 at 05:02.. Reason: Correction. |

Indeed. I'm looking forward to many more pounds being spent with him. He did bring my attention to coolant and oil leaking when it was.up on the ramp so may need to accelerate my plans to get the pump and head gasket upgraded to the multilayer hahahaha.
He seems to think my 1.8t in Copperleaf is a rare combination too. Who knows. Just looking forward to getting the mechanical issues sorted so I can move onto cosmetics. |
