Covid Day 2 test: avoid Boots

If you're returning to UK before next week you'll need a Day 2 test. My wife returned from Berlin 11 days ago and has still not received the results. £69 down the drain: what a scam.

Those kind of results are available over here within 24 hours on line.--Have you checked to see if it's the same over there ??

Possibly.---My wife is about to have a new hip this coming Friday.---They will not operate unless she has this test 48 hours before the operation.------------

I'm away in ten days, I have paid for the tests but I have no intention of doing them when I return, I want to poke the nest for a response from the government. I want to be arrested for it but it's not likely with the shambolic way it's being dealt with. In this case I'd be asking Boots for the money back, the test isn't needed now and hasn't been done so it warrants a refund.

Quite agree: we have,but they claim their T & Cs prohibit refunds except if the package is damaged. We've given them 14 days to make a refund then we'll sue via Small Claims Court. Appalling record on Trust Pilot. Long article about it here. (Warning: it's the Guardian)
