Car Insurance Renewal
Hello all you members out there who have a renewal coming up.
I have always looked around for a quote, I used GoCompare , Selected a policy with the Post office ,fully comp, all categories covered (I have always selected extra items if offered) Quote £ 277.00. Last year with Sainsbury's £350.75 , renewal quote £ 417.00 . It does show, you need to shop around, by the way I am 79 years old, at the moment not a deterrent for a quote Cheers Martyn |

I'm the same age, have just renewed fully comp - which includes breakdown recovery - for £248 with RH funnily enough at Swindon.

Hi Martyn.
Quote Me Happy, owned by Aviva renewed my cover for £224.- in July on My 54 Conny SE CDTI at 78 years of age. I went through the usual comparison sights and couldn't believe a subsidiary was offering a cheaper quote. Bargain |

You guys are lucky my insurance is £800 for my 75 fully comp with legal cover, which makes absolutely no sense when I insure my BRM with all mods for £182 They must have it back to front surly

Are you sure it's exactly the same cover? It's not unknown for an insurer/underwriter to market a number of different products i.e different levels of cover . How likely are you to drive your BRM around streets of Romford for the same number of miles as your 75? |

I went with the CO-OP this year and they were half the price of a “specialist” insurer, but no breakdown cover as I am already with the AA
