MG ZT.75 Projector Lamps
Good Evening all,
I have removed the lamps from my ZT to polish up the lenses. Upon removing the lenses, I touched the chrome reflector on the lamp. In the process of removing my fingerprints, I wiped down the reflector and realised I had wiped away the aluminium plating on the reflector, now there's marks on the reflector on the high beam part of the lamp. I'm not too sure what I can do to rectify this problem, as seeing as this is specially plated it cannot be easily fixed. Any ideas what I could do? Seeing as it's a bulb I'm not going to use a lot, could I lightly spray with some Chrome effect paint to fill the gaps possibly. |

As you are now aware, the coating is very thin! (We have all done similar ) Yo could try chrome spray, I would try to find a replacement light personally.

I have a set of projectors for sale, lenses need a polish, or swap your lenses over. Let me know if you're interested, assuming you need facelift units
