Windscreen washer comedian
My washers have slowed to a trickle so reading on this forum by some comedian "it's probably just a blocked filter on the pump: a 15 minute job." Well I can assure you it ain't - at least not for me. First it took me an age to prise out the wheel liner not realising there were mud hidden plastic screws holding it in. As I'd filled the bottle I was warned and expected to be flooded when I eventually managed to pull out the pump. But nowt came out, so do I presume there is so much gunge in the bottom of the washer bottle that the hole is blocked? (I can hear the pump revolving with ignition on)
But now the pump is out where is the filter? Is this the white thingy shown below? I presume I've now got to extract the whole bottle, which no doubt means "bumper off"?

Panic over
OK: panic over: have found Arctic's excellent as usual pic here that shows the filter with it's tiny holes.
What would we do without him?

Yep, the filter is integrated into the rubber seal between the bottle and pump. Once cleaned and refitted don’t use too much screen wash
