Default CDti Cam Sensor Position

Could someone please tell me where i can find the "cam sensor" on my CDTi 53 plate

To the right of the oil filler cap, beneath the the engine cover.

It's under the engine cover on the cam cover close to the oil filler cap

Hi Take a look at these pics 1&2

On one you can see it top left by the oil filler cap with the leads going into it
1

Pic 2 shows the 3 wires leading to it. to remove disconnect the wiring plug from the sensor, undo the torx screw 5mm socket works a treat,discard the seal if damaged in the book it says fit new one most times the O-ring is fine.

I also needed to find where the cam sensor was today for my diesel - and Steve's pics had gone AWOL - so here they are:

1. Remove engine cover (8mm socket)
2. Remove the one holding screw (4mm socket).
