Sun just starting to break through the wispy clouds, so another warm'un on the way. The local farmers are starting to panic about when to cut the fields. Harvest time seems to get earlier each year. It used to signify the end of summer seeing all those bales in the field but summer has only just begun (the grockles are arriving!).

Morning Phil, I'm glad that's over with Well that's a procedure I wouldn't want to go through again Four lovely young lady nurses doing the procedure / biopsy, multiple local anesthetic jabs in the groin area & 24 biopsies taken, There cant be much left of it. I'm sore now & pink pee to boot.
Got an appointment with them later this month for the results.

This muggy heat is horrendous, I spent most of the night sat outside on the decking with one of our cats because it was that hot.

It's cloudy here & just started spitting with rain, hopefully it pours down, I'd rather have the grey rainy days that I'm used to than this sweatathon

Cracking pictures Jeff

Thanks

Super hot and muggy here as well Ian
Glad you got through your procedure, does not sound pleasant at all!
I only hope the four nurses were a bit of a distraction from the procedure itself for you

Yesterday I went over to Pin Mill.

This place was made famous by Arthur Ransome as one of the settings for his series of books 'Swallows & Amazons'

It is on the River Orwell very near to Ipswich and within sight of the Orwell Bridge.

Had a lovely lunch at the Butt&Oysrter pub overlooking the river and then took a visit to see the well known Ship Graveyard there.

Unfortunately the tide was out the time we were there so I am definitely going to go back to take some more photos of the wrecks when they are partially submerged.

Here is one I took of the wrecks...

And this is the view towards the Orwell Bridge a short walk from the wrecks...
