Default EEPROM data and TOAF

***FIXED***

So upon replacing my gauge cluster my diesel gauge works! The only issue I have now is fitting my EEPROM chip from the old cluster. Does it store any data for the fuel gauge? I don't want to swap it then have the same issue with a dead gauge. Also, TOAF won't show any coding options for the cluster, (Just Errors, Control, IPK details and ZCS codes). I need to tell my car it hasn't got a digital speedo as that broke it in the first place. Thanks!

FIX* Reflashing another IPK file from a similar car worked! I just had to adjust the kilometers to miles. My backup file was corrupt all along.

How did the digital speedo cause the gauge to break?

I used TOAF to enable it while I was playing about but being a lowline the digital speedo it's confused it. I've done the eeprom swap but the new cluster has the same issue with the PPP P trip and quarter full tank of fuel.

Unfortunately in putting on the digital Speedo, on a non message centre IPK has corrupted the Eeprom.

The only way to sort that out is to virginise the Eeprom and then re-configure it to the car on T4

Oh ouch! Okay. I don't have T4 sadly. I've seen people with a similar issue re-flash a lowline IPK dump which apparently works but I'll need to try and find the file in the first place 😂.
