Thanks for all the help raykay, looks like I will have to wait for the replacement key to arrive from Germany (7-10 days without the car), to see what the next sept will be, I still have my doubts about it being the key immobilizer that has gone faulty, but who knows.

Hip Hip oh ray
Just had a phone call from the garage, the car is running again :lol: :lol: :lol:. what with the FBH from Keith working as well, I am now like a pig in (well you know what) its turning out to be my week. I do not know the final cost of the new key and battery key ECT yet , but I will post the total cost once I pick up the car from the garage in the morning. |

I only had one key when I brought the car and it was the key that turned out to be the problem. Do you have a second key you could try?
