Shopping Has Begun!
I've been using the car a lot this week, 300 miles, and the bugs have begun to appear, (either that or they were already there and honeymoon period is over.)
Thanks to the gritters doing the rounds, and amazingly enough ongoing repair work to the local roads, I've got a chip in the windscreen (and the Passenger Mirror took a hit too) I had the 2 rear tyres done just after I bought it, and went back this week to get the fronts done. Had a good nose round the arches while she was jacked up....oh dear. Drop link ball joint rubbers have perished/split both sides so there are 2 new links on the way. (Previous owner had just replaced the exhaust and I assumed the occasional knocking might have been a missing rubber) Number plates were ropey when I got her, so new ones are on the way, back one is going back to stock size, standard one looks awful on these. Because I'd done very few miles up till this week, I hadn't noticed that the passenger side wasn't getting as warm as the drivers, so I've got to strip the matrix out at some point soon, (SWMBO doesn't like cold toes ) Just waiting for a break in our wonderful British weather to get started, which brings me to today's quiz question - why is the world at large picking on my Cowley Beauty? (Answers on a postcard please, entries received after the closing date will not be accepted, and you may still be charged) |

If you're replacing your ftont number-plate, why not try one of these for an added touch of class? I fitted one last year and have been delighted.
