Alternatives to photobucket.
I know folks have posted various recommendations on different threads but if they are in one place it might help people decide which host to use for their pic's.So who do you recommend and why? The simpler the better for me
Thanks in advance

I use Flickr, fairly straightforward and never had a problem with it.

Try https://postimages.org/
We had the same issue over on rover800.info so I installed a plugin which allows uses to directly upload to that site and it seems to work very well. No reason you can't use it on here as well.

I stopped using photobucket long before the current issues as it was always so slow and unreliable anyway. No doubt we all have our own preferences, but I switched to imgur.com and haven't had any problems at all plus I find it simple to use too.

Flickr gets my vote , especially for not adversely lowering the image quality unlike Photobucket

Here's another example from imgur. I usually choose 'huge thumbnail' from the imgur menu when posting to the forum as it fits on the page nicely without having to use the
scroll bar, but I've also posted this one full size as well so you can check the picture quality.
