Default 2 litre v6

Always driven the 75 diesels.

How about a 2 litre v6 with only 21k miles on I have seen for sale?.

What are pros and cons of this engine?

Pro's - It sounds nice
Con's - It's very thirsty, it's gutless, cam belts are expensive to change, you'll always wish it was the 2.5!

Totally agree but many on here believe it’s a very satisfying drive with an auto box.
Briefly had one as a Manual and yes it was gutless. Now we have a 2.5 Auto and it does all you want with same running cost of a 2 litre.

Had mine for 11 yrs now with no inkling to change. Get around 30ish to the gallon - mid to high 20's around town with a light foot. Lovely smooth engine which, other than a new clutch and a new battery, has so far never let me down.

Never heard of one do that ! How many do you know of ?
I am very happy with mine which I have had for nearly 13 years
Gutless ? Well , they have 150 bhp which most find adequate , but they do need to be revved a little harder than the 2.5 and that makes them sound sort of "snarly"
If one of them doesn't go well , it's very likely the VIS motors are not well . After all , if you really need high performance you should be buying the 190 !

Think I spotted that one for sale, Ian (Moonstone?).

Looks like it’s been treated with kid gloves

Definitely worth a closer look, I’d say.

Cheers,
Karl.
