PPD Bullet Mirror Bolts
Hello folks,
I spent this afternoon trying to fit a pair of Bullet Mirrors to my ZT. The ones fitted currently are the scull type. I struggled getting the trim around the window off to access the mirror bolts, upon removing one and the bolts and checking them against the bullet type, I released that they are completely different. An half hours rummage around the Garage and although I did find some bolts that fit, they were too long in length. So I took a trip down to B&Q, rather overwhelmed by the selection on offer, expecting to pick up a nut and bolt set that'll last me another 20 years, I walked out! Although it might seem like a daft question to ask, what bolts do the PPD style bullet mirrors use? The second hand set that I bought didn't come with any. Thanks, Adam. |

Could you have put a nut on the longer bolts and then cut off the excess? Removing the nut will help form the end of the thread again.
