Moto-Build rear bumper side pods fitted!
Just fitted these moto-build rear bumper side pods which are x part copies, and to be honest the standard of finish is poor for what they charge for them. Considering these parts would fit on everybodys car the same they should be a perfect fit but they are badly trimmed by moto-build and the gel coat over the fibreglass is lumpy,it took about 3 hours to get both to fit against the bumper. It took 3 coats of high build 2k primer 2 coats of base colour and 3 coats of 2k lacquer to finish,a couple of screws and some tigerseal and haypresto! look good but a lot of work to get to this standard see what you guys think.

They look pretty good.
Having seen other peoples work on these body-kits, I just bought a set of side-skirts from Rimmers (very well packed and arrived in one piece), plus I just managed to get a new set of original rear bumper trims for my tourer. It looks like these should be a good fit. I am just trying to find some time to paint and fit them now. |
