Default Help

Hello all,
I'm in the process of replacing the screen on a BMW E46 wide-screen headunit.
I've followed all the online instructions with success until I'm down to the panel holding the actual LCD screen.

Removed the two main screws on the back panel and two lower ones holding the grey plastic.

But the LCD screen is holding firm and I can't see how to undo it.

Please can someone help?!

Thank you.

Paul

Default Connection is wrong

Hi,
So I have now worked out how to remove the LCD screen.
Unfortunately the original unit is a flat ribbon connection that clamps down. The new screen has a raised block connection.

Can I swap the boards on the back of the screen?

Or can I change the ribbon connection?

Thanks

Paul
