Front bumper wiring harness
Hi all,
I'm having some bad connections on the bumper wiring harness plug, the one that goes to the inner wing, the metal parts are starting to corrode.. Looking at it, I can't see any kind of rubber seal to stop water getting in. Should there be one ? if so, where can I get one ? Pete. |

I had the same problem, outside air temperature reading -30,
caused by corrosion in that connector. Cleaned with contact cleaner, then smeared with Vaseline. Been good since.

On a socket like thishttps://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-YSB001930?gclid=Cj0KCQiAiNnuBRD3ARIsAM8KmltFgVlESf IKiLqA_Lk4yOTqMPDVzEtzEtA_wbRlrQR9eWuWQRhQzZAaAtHe EALw_wcB
I thought there was a "square" rubber seal pushed a fair way up the socket. macafee2 |
