Default ATF Oil Cooler Leaking

I'm still monitoring the Auto Gasket mentioned at https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=326755

Leak is minor so not done anything about it yet. However, today on a 100 mile drive I noticed the gearbox becoming clunky. Looked underneath and couldn't believe what I found.

After cleaning the area and then running the engine, it appears that the aluminium(I presume?) pipes are just press fitted into the receptacle and both are loose and therefore leaking?

I'm flabbergasted.

I don't think I'm able to push the pipes back in and even if I could they've just loosen again.

I guess I'm going to need a new ATF cooler. Anyone heard of this happening? I can't believe the pipes are just press fitted in !

Would this cooler be ok? https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/products/rov...nuine-mg-rover

Thanks,
Ali.

That's really odd - I've never seen that before!
Assuming you do indeed have a Petrol Automatic 75 / ZT, this will indeed fit

Thanks. Ordered.

I notice on the picture of your ones (which the area of the tubes look different) the tubes are welded in, which mine aren't, so they must have revised it after mione was built.
