What is wrong with me?

Please don't start a long list

I bought a new Lenovo core i5 17:3 screen laptop last December.

I currently have an HP with the same spec which is running into the ground.

I just can't get rid of the old girl until she is finally shot to bits

Sure she has lots of problems, doesn't recognise the printer and takes about 5 minutes to recognise the wireless mouse grrr.

The new one is still sealed in the original postage bag.

I am just happy still grinding away on this one through sentimentality

I'm starting to guess that there this is something wrong with me

if its the same spec then just renew the OS and start from fresh... it will be the same as a new LT

What is an OS Pete? Do you mean resetting this computer from factory detting because it always comes up with a Fatal error message, wont download cd's or upload to youtube or my pictures. The list is emdless

operating system,try windows 10 and restore back to factory settings as well

apparently the auto correct is knackered too.... lol

yes, factory reset cures all ills...

re install the operating system using recovery disks or on disk systems...

As said above, reload windows (OS) then all the drivers from the HP website. It will run like new.

So if things go well, what do you think a new Lenovo core i5 17:3 screen laptop bought last December on 8.1 and still sealed would be worth. Their about £500 on fleebay but I only bought if for £450 from John Lewis and that was nearly six months ago
