Been doing some reach for the last few days the more I've read into it the more determined too enlist but not yet not till 100% certain and ready.


As you all know I wanted too join he army so much it meant a great deal too me something I was willing too do and would have given my all if given the chance, till the day I got that letter that they looked into my medical records.


I wish I hadn't done it but its too late just a bad time but here am now stronger mentally from it.


I want too do so much more in my life, I've had jobs some I liked a lot I didn't, its not about the work so much its more on testing my limits and see how far I can go mentally as well physically, Plus I want too serve for many reasons but this one stands out by far too me as it comes from the heart.

I want too serve because I want too give back too those who gave there life's for there country and for each other being part of that unity I believe you can't get that same level of unity in civil street.

I want too be able too find my own path in life and I want too see what I can do and better myself each time.

I don't want too live regretting I didn't do this or I didn't do that I've got too take the chances now while I'm young before my time runs out.

I know it won't be easy and I know that when you join the legion your name address date of birth will be changed I think that's how it works when get a 5 contract if I complete the basic requirements and training.

Its my best shot of trying too push myself more and I really strongly believe that this is the way and do damn best too get fitter stronger and the hard part the French language WHICH I WILL LEARN.


Just like too say thanks too tantallon and gatekeeper as well you both mentioned it and yeah I feel fired up and haven't felt this way since had my first army interview which was over a year ago now.


Its given me a sense of purpose and determination too succeed.

I don't know your army history or why you left, and I may be going over old ground here, sorry if I am, but have you considered the Territorial Army?

I was never in the army I did apply got too the interview stage got thought that okay and then they were going too send me on a course which I wanted too do and then boom a few before I meant too get on a train they withdrawn my application completely because of my medical.

I knew it was going too flag up I was hoping that wouldn't be the case but it did, just wish they gave ma chance too explain myself, but no tried heaed nothing since then.

So I've accepted the reality they weren't going too take me on.
