Goodness you found a twelve car garage fully heated with two and four post lifts, standing in its own made up ground complete with three bedroom country cottage for the humans. Best of luck with the move.

It must be something about women mine keeps harping on about getting a new kitchen. Why when all the units are fine with the exception of the veneer coming off one of the wall units base board facing. She is wanting the same configuration of eighteen units. If change must happen why can’t we just change the doors and drawer fronts, pelmets and shadow bars.
She keeps forgetting I in my seventies now. And the suggestion of getting a man in to do it raises the question of cost and of standard of workmanship.

Saturday was spent at the Town just up the road Paisley they had a car show on everything to modern stuff to a couple from the twenties. Not so many this year from the fifty’s to seventies, I guess they are just getting thin on the ground. A massive turn out American beasts. Very few locally built cars think I saw one imp and an avenger. Sad when the Roots car plant was just down the road at Linwood for so many years. Which reminds me the paint on the railway bridge there is very weathered, I must find my Box Brownie and go and take o few photos of it. As at the moment the old advert for the home of the avenger and sunbeam is showing nicely through the paint, must get a photo before they paint over it again. Sunday spent recovering from staggering about Paisley on Saturday. Don’t like this old age thing.
