Default Key fob programming

Hi all
Apologies if this has been asked before but I cant find a relevant post. H Rover 75 1.8T Connoiser. Just had to disconnect the battery to carry out some work and now the remote key fobs wont work. Have tried a new battery in one and gone through the handbook procedure with both but no response. All works fine using the key. Does anyone know of any tricks to try or alternatively is there someone with a T4 in the Nuneaton area?
Many thanks Dave

Nearest T4 I'm aware of should you need it would be Lates in Rugby: http://www.lates600.com/

Remote programming can be done with Toaf too and would cost you nothing. Search the forum for more information.

Have you tried disconnecting the main battery again? Sometimes cures all manner of gremlins.

does the doors unlock manually with the key ,does the engine start with the key. does the light come on when you press the fob if the engine dont start with the key theres a problem with the fob recognising the ews rgds mark

The immobiliser transponder in the key and the remote locking/unlocking PCB are in no way connected.

Check to see if the operation of the front windows are reversed on the drivers switchpack
