The Macan alone sold more than the 911 and Panamera combined.
I was in Aberdeen last night and had a wander around the Porsche dealers forecourt. Every single car on the forecourt that was facing the main road was one of their suv's. A row back was the same with the addition of a couple of 3 new 911's. Only round the side was one Cayman with yet more suv's.

That, for me, is tragic and not what I think of when I dream of a Porsche. But. That's what they sell the most of so from a business aspect makes perfect sense.

Jaguar Land Rover are next door and exactly the same forecourt set up.
