Streetwise sunroof leaking.
Water leaking onto front n/s seat after rain.If this is a common problem ,any pointers towards a cure would be appreciated .

Its quite a common problem with the R3 shape cars. All my old ones were fine but the seals around the sunroof seem to let in the water. You see alot with tape or sealant on them. Id try finding the rubber seal but I think they are quite difficult to find. Good luck

The roof/glass seal is designed to allow water to pass it.
Once past the outer seal the water travels along a gutter/tray and then out to the drains at each corner. So you either have a rotten gutter/tray/gasket or the drain hoses are bust/disconnected somehow. Last edited by Lovel; 27th February 2018 at 22:27.. |
