I will be joining the M6 at Coventry, so anywhere after that would be ok for me.

It'd better be very early though, as last time we were a bit late. Especially if we will be stopping twice and be quite slow moving on the motorway.
We don't want to miss any of the action.

We'll be at a Travelodge the night before and will be leaving for the last 10miles or so bright and early - wish I could hang around for a convoy though

So we,re about 5 miles apart, we should have our own mini convoy Sunday morning.
We,re stopping at ye old fighting cocks in Arnside ,on the Saturday,it has a band on,called catdog who do covers of 70s and 80s rock, is it your sort of music.if so maybe we could meet up for a drink.lemonade of course
We,re getting the train to grange over sands to have fish and chips for tea.it costs £1.80 return, its quicker than going by road,16 miles by road 3 miles by train.!!.

Well, as I'll be coming from the midlands I too will be traveling up on the M6, possibly joining from the A5 (or thereabouts) May even use the M6 Toll so speed up journey times. In which case I leave the South of Lichfield and drive straight onto the M6 Toll (literally!) then it's one big fat motorway journey for the next 130miles or so!! So anywhere north of the A5/M6 junction to meet is fine with me.

Maybe a services just north of Birmingham area, don't know where they are, but then any southerners could meet up with us.
I don't think I'll be taking the toll road as it SHOULD be very quiet at that time on a Sunday.
