This is why my 260 has a self powered gps tracker buried in the back of the dash .

Hadn't thought of that! However, the compound is down a 150 yard gravel drive, with an even narrower 90 degree corner, and literally only 3 feet from the front of three occupied bungalows. Don't think I can do much more - the monogram ZT is hidden in one of the garages with more "senior" classics.

For the sake of £20, hide a smart tag in the car, it'll locate it within 20 metres should the worst happen.

It's just a cheapy Amazon device .

Likorlove -Vehicle Car GPS Tracker Tracking Device Mini GSM GPRS SMS Locator

I wired it with a battery backup wired to trickle charge from the cars wiring..
It will still run for a few months if the cars battery is removed.
