Good morning and thanks for the welcome to your club. I found your club on the internet by searching for "Rover 75 forums".

I don't, as yet, own a Rover 75 but today looks like the day this is to happen. I am hoping to find out as much as possible about what pitfalls to look for, prior to purchase, and your forum looks just the place.

If I do purchase I will definitely be subscribing.

Regards

Nev

Hi, thanks for the acceptance to The 75 and ZT owners club I'm sure I will find it most helpfull. I dont actuallt own a 75 or a ZT but hopefully later today I will. I've owned a ZR for the last two years and decided to upgrade to a ZZT. I'm going to view MG Zt-T 2.0 CDTi 135+ 5dr Auto later today, which is advertised on http://www.autotrader.co.uk The dealer has offered me £700 for my ZR as a part ex. I'm not sure what the actual model is. Any body got any idea's or any views about this car and am I doing the right thing ?

Got here via a link from mg rover.org, whilst asking about buying a ZTT.

Fortunately nobody has taken my moniker, so I didn't have to think up a new one!

Looking forward to being a Rover/MG owner again, just looking for the right ZTT now. Got to be diesel, with roof bars, in a spectacular colour!

Hi all ,

I'm probably the youngest member on here , but don't let that bother you.

Essentially after my mum traded in her RRV for a RRS there was a bit of money left over so I asked if we could buy a Rover 75 for me to work , and of course she said no. To cut a long story short after much pestering she relented and soon a dark blue ( don't know the proper name ) 75 was on the drive. It was advertised as a Connie , and it looks enough like one , but I think its a dressed up club se , due to the wheels and seats.

Anyway , i digress. After looking for parts to fit ( hehe ) i more and more came across this site , and I've finally decided to join

Have run older " interesting " cars for a few years, ( 1987 Mercedes 190, slow, uncomfortable, noisy--it always got me home. 1993 Lexus GS300, not slow, not uncomfortable or noisy but didn't always get me home !! ) So I am used to finding/using similar sites.
The main seller, however, was the previous owner, ( of eight years, ) of my 75 diesel recommended this one, saying what a great site this is, inhabited by very nice people !! Good enough for me !! So here I is !!

Pete.
