remote batteries
just wondering what make of batteries give good service life for remote fobs. there are plenty available in supermarkets but rebranded im sure. duracell i have tried but not impressed. batteries from jewellers might be an option but you still dont know how old they are. i have got the upgraded flipkey fobs that a lot of other members bought on here , and whilst i have been happy with mine they can be a challenge sometimes to change the batteries. just wondered where and what other members buy. an auto locksmith or even an A.A patrol man might have an idea . i would rather pay a bit more for decent ones.

Have you had a bad Duracell Stefan? I changed ours to duracell a couple of years ago and all are still going strong.

Just a quick question, how long do the batteries usually last in the fob?

Can't say for sure, but mine worked until the fob wore through where you press the button - many years

thanks andy. duracell seems to be getting the vote on here. bought some on the bay cheap and they didnt last long both in my remote and the wifes honda. so my conclusion is probably about where to buy decent ones. some give exp/dates some dont when advertised. may be i will pay greater attention to 100% feedback in future ...
