Just search on ebay for rover 75 service reset. It brings up an obd2 tool with yellow free and red buttons. £5 from Hong Kong or about £8.99 from uk. On my phone so cant link.

Take a read of THIS and order yourself one of THESE. Solder pins 7&8 together any you are away.

You can reset the service mileage in-dash I believe.

I've read that some of these reset tools have been known to damage the OBD plugs, causing later problems with communicating with T4 or other diagnostic tools.

I used to reset mine with a bit of wire with a couple of milliamp quick blow fuse soldered in just in case, but I now have a Sykes Pickavant ACR4 which does the job.
