Default fuel burner

Just had a salvaged dosing
pump & fuel burner fitted to
the 75. It was below 5 degrees when I set off on the 25 mile
journey home. Thought it
seemed
nicely aired in the car almost
from the start of the journey.
Parked
the car at home, lifted the
bonet and the fuel burner
casing was hot to the touch.
Daft question - does this mean
it's working?

Most probably yes but the coolant from the engine is, still passing through the FBH hoses so could be heat from the the engine next time it's below temp start the car and open the Bonnett and see if it fires up
