i like the bit his "mate" said he was going to do it. he was probably part and parcel of the set up. these people dont work on their own with this type of theft. you dont want to be walking around at 3.00 in the morning with a jack under your arm and a stolen exhaust cat and tools. chances are when it happened his "mate" did a runner. ... thats more than plausible ...

The man got his just desert, When I did the Spice tourers exhaust I kept the original she is stainless from the cat back and from the cat up. To buy a decent sports cat in stainless was going to be over £800 or 550 for a cheep good one.

We had a similar death here in Vancouver, Canada a few months ago. Funnily it was another BMW. It is a big problem here but mostly with taller vehicles (The Ford F-150 is a big seller in Canada) They even steal them from emergency vehicles and trucks belonging to Search and Rescue groups and Food Banks. Not many tears were shed for that guy. Much like the idiots that get fried trying to steal copper wire from power stations.

Default What about the car owner

Sad for the car owner and owners of the cars. You work hard to earn the money for cars or the nice things you want. Then some low life thinks it is OK to steal them.
One less.

I came across our old Zr Cat in the shed, stuck in on face book and got offers of 50-75 straight away, looked it up on the web , there a few companies who just buy them. quoted 160 with conditions . put it on ebay

had stacks of offers, in the end sold it for 185 + 10 post
