Good morning Julien and Dawn, a fascinating story, thank you for sharing. I had to Google the Buick, what a beauty and what with meeting Dawn, you must have been the King of Road and the cat with the cream.

Good Morning Phil.
How are you and Jessica, Just an update on the car, it was a 1939 Buick Mclaughlin black limousine, if you can get California.com on the internet very similar to the one shown, it was meant to be a long distance cruiser there was a chrome rail along the back of the front seat which could be taken of and the front seat would then lay down level with the back seat, this then could be made into a bed.

Take care all the best Julien.

Good morning sir! Thank you Julien for more information about the Buick and it’s history. Did it have a deep growling engine when you drove it around? Those American cars were built for driving the vast distances. I will look at the website you suggested, thank you. 1939 build, just before America came into the war? I imagine car seating which converts into a bed would have been considered ahead of it’s time. What a buzz you had with the car.

Jessica and I, we first met at the entrance to Kew Gardens, I was driving an MG.

Yep those were the days of cradle snatchers, and not gold diggers looking for sugar daddies. And I hope you have been happy and fulfilled as we have been over the years, take care and many more too come.
