Morning all, what’s the day looking like?

Tomorrow I am back in cardiology to have a device fitted to monitor my heart for 72 hours. They are looking to see if the heart is stable or not. They said when I was in A&E in resus, I was in 1st degree heart block which progressed to 2nd degree heart block by the time I was admitted into ICU. 13 ICU beds, each bed was in a cubicle and manned by a doctor and 2 nurses. My cubicle was next to the cardiac theatre and had I proceeded to stage 3 heart block they had me lined up for a pacemaker. Had I progressed to a heart attack they would have fitted a stent. Apparently their gold standard is to fit a stent within 90 minutes of a heart attack, saving a life.

What is everyone up to? Isn’t it great to see the spring photos? Roll on summer ….

Morning peeps,

Yesterday's blue sky and sunshine has been replaced with a drab grey sky. No wind thankfully !

Thanks for the update Phil, did you get a better nights sleep at home?

Cool

Morning everyone.

Yesterday’s breakfast meet was a cracker. 150 cars attended.

And as for the breakfast, well it was cooked to order and it was bloomin’ ‘ansum.

Morning Jeff, thank you I slept well last night.

What next for the studio which looks complete?

Remember Mike (RIP)? One of his hobbies was glamour photography and his lounge was his studio which was fully kitted out for people who wanted makeovers. It was hobby which gave him a side line of making a bit extra. I think the going rate for a makeover was £250. Some of the customers were models and those ones had their photos published in certain magazines.

Yes, took a few photo’s. If I get some spare time I’ll them posted up on here. There was 6 forum members there including Shonkie who arrived in her mechanically restored MK4 Ford Cortina Estate.
