Look at mg now, why isn’t it in British hands with production in this country?

Short-sightedness, the peaks & troughs of the global market, bad management of the original companies, intemperate workers unions?

Or all of the above plus more.

'Marmite' Possibly one of the most famous 75 tourers produced! left the production line as the last of only Three Rover 75 tourers produced in Trophy Yellow. 48 hours later Longbridge closed. The last sold ordered 75 Tourer. Paid for by the Phoenix Four and handed over by John Towers to the Warwickshire Northampton Air ambulance service as a Rapid Response vehicle

The Chinese didn't destroy longbridge or cause it's problems .. They pick up what was left that they could , Shame Rover name was under licence only airbrush could of birthday as well . Across the world MG is doing well , even in uk they are doing well but many still want to give longbridge nowt but moaning . As it often has by some . At least I tried to support longbridge with having about 8 cars with a connection and still have 3 Inc more current cars .. I would prefer things to be still British but rather the Chinese have it than to be another failed car manufacturer ... Which litter history

Just insured our mgtf, will get it down for mot shortly. It’s in tiptop condition underneath as been inside and only done 29k miles. I always think of them more akin to kit cars. A fantastic design just not manufactured to a high enough standard.
