Happy to report that my guts have finally kicked into normal function following last weekend's "intrusion"! Got to go through it all again at the start of next month
Sounds like my old office we had a pond outside and the heron's treated it like a buffett, fish or ducklings was it's choice, when they closed the office they drained the pool.

My pond was ruined by a heron sticking his nose/beak into the pond and spearing the liner! Fish ended up flapping around in a couple of inches of mucky watter!

Rain stopped play It's chucking it down after a lovely sunny morning/mid afternoon. Got lots of seedlings potted on & more seed sowing done.

We had 12 Koi in a large pond at the family home on a mountain in South Africa. Herons came and devoured all of them. The heron is a fascinating bird, but we do hate them. I sympathise with your fish and what an ordeal you and your fish had to endure.

A brilliant, sunny morning here in the east. I got an invite to view the new Kia electric vehicles! I think that I shall be too old to drive before I will trust those new fangled sparky things! Electrickery? I daren't start to tinker with that stuff and if I can't tinker with it I won't drive it. Technicians? I prefer proper mechanicals myself. Spring has sprung and summer is coming ( I've already spotted the grockles on the A47 !).
