Reckoning is there's more to come, Police are still investigating more breeches and the fines that have been issued so far are said to be for the "lesser" infringements. Trouble is BoJo is teflon, I doubt if anything will happen with him, he'll just put on his little boy caught doing something naughty routine again, Sunak on the other hand has probably blown his ambitions to succeed Boris with this and the debacle over his wife's taxes.

I agree, more fines probably to come for BoJo, more excuses. If the local elections in may or Sue Greys report don’t fatally wound him, the cost of living catastrophe will.

Oh dear! Good, bad, or indifferent from those who have no means of knowing what or how the inner sanctums work! Or what happens in the corridors of power. Perfectly entitled of course in every way, but predictably partisan. Where are the mods now I wonder. Funny, that. Must say though, I'm as scathing as anybody else.

I'm sure someone would do it, clearly if there is not a single conservative MP fit or able for the job then that is a massive issue.
Either way this lying, sneering excuse for a prime minister needs to go

Bunch of hypocrites, how many of you on here who are slating these people off
can honestly say they have never had any one round during lockdown for a cup of tea and a chat, I know I have.

He who is without sin cast the first stone.

Other than shopping I was never out of the house during lockdown. I have numerous medical problems so couldn't take the chance of having visitors. My wife is a nurse dealing with covid every day, we have followed the same routine from day one, when she comes home, I unlock the front door prior to her arrival, all the doors to the bathroom open, switch the shower on, myself and the dogs remain in the lounge until she'd had her shower.

Masks are no longer compulsory up here from Monday, I'll still be wearing one.

To be honest we kept to the rules. No friends round, no family visits, no visiting or seeing relatives who didn't make it and who died.. I would have expected those who set then to do the same also.

I think though most folk would have said fair enough if the prime minister has put his hands up and said he'd done it. Instead, publicly, in parliament he lied.
He said there was no party - there was.
He said all rules had been followed at the party he didn't know about- they weren't.
He said he didn't realise the party he was pictured at ( which he had already said he hadn't attended )was a work event - it wasn't.
He lied time and time again.
They partied on the evening before the Queen sat alone at her husband's funeral ( oh and he had previously lied to the Queen).

It's not about being hypocritical about the prime minister as some have said. It's about the facts that the prime minister, the man who told us all to follow the rules didn't do it himself and then lied about it time and time again

My wife had to turn people away from seeing their loved ones as they were dying. It now turns out that she and her colleagues needn't have bothered as the liar who told them to do it didn't take it seriously. How do you think that makes them feel? They kept to to the law and prevented families from being together at the most vulnerable times of their lives for nothing
How do they feel - sick, angry, horrified and ashamed that they kept to the law meanwhile the man in charge who made the laws did what he wanted.

What a wonderful example he and his pals have set. Heaven help us if there is another pandemic - whi is going to listen to them. Hypocrites

Said before, if Boris told me it was daylight I'd glance out of the window to check.
