It may work for us albeit at huge cost. It’s another matter if it’s a fair ethical humanitarian system. Have they actually set up an outpost in Rwanda yet?

I read today the leases on these 'hotels' have not yet been signed!
It seems we are now at incredible cost transporting, not only our responsibilities but European ones as well, offshore to a totally corrupt destination, and at a vastly increased cost to the rest of us. Is there anybody at the helm? I wonder, given the international opinion of the rest of the civilised world, what will happen to the stateless immigrants who are the subjects of this tragedy, and those among them that are denied UK residence. We are led by donkeys. Or, at best, peasants. The humanistic side of this seems to have been lost somewhere, no matter what misery overtakes. Waiting with bated breath for someone to blame Brex.

Totally agree, my conscience is clear, I never voted for them and could never be convinced in the future even under torture. IMO a European wide solution with property processing of legitimate applicants would have been far better than this Australian type solution. |

Michael with respect. The "I never voted for them" doesnt work in a democracy- I never voted for New labour and a smily face but I got the "weapons of mass destruction" and millions of people dead, wounded and displaced and billions of treasure expended and an ex leader who "has no regrets I know I was right" And what about Libya??? Further on this: UN Refugee Agency says the Rwanda proposal is illegal.
Out of the frying pan... Is there nobody with the cohones coupled with half a brain to resolve this ridiculous circus.

Good point well made! It's a collective in a democracy whether we like it or not. Those that don't like that can put themselves up for election and take their chances. That's freedom from tyranny, like in Russia.
