I’m hopefully meeting my doctor, this week to get some paracetamol to keep myself . I’m hoping it stops me from aiming to take a death pill, and something I can use as something that could have feeling as instant death I have been feel.

Ahhhhh! Picolax! The source of Vesuvius and Krakatoa all rolled into a tiny capsule. Dynamite and nuclear fusion has nothing on Picolax!!!

Brings a whole new meaning to the term "Natural Gas"!

Ugh! Are we in for round two of high fuel prices? Oil prices surge on news that the EU proposes an embargo of Russian crude & fuel imports. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/16...-joe-Biden-ont

That Picolax thread is saved in my favourites. I've actually postponed the appointment, starting to feel that bleedin' dizziness I had a week or so ago again.

Blimey Steve that's like out of the frying pan into the fire

The wind has picked up & it's started to rain right on time just as it's been forecast.

Tell me about it. Took the first dose of "drain unblocker" last night, up at five coz Ging is dayshift, started on the second dose soon after then began to feel my balance was off. Ended up taking loperamide to try to restore normal operations

Good morning Richard

When you see your GP:

Be honest with yourself and tell him everything.

You write about the death pill. I write about the Life Pill - ringing the Samaritans if you don’t want to speak to anyone else.

Tomorrow we have our end of season awards ceremony for the camera club.
It’s a big occasion this year as it will be the first time in two seasons that we finally get to meet in person and not on Zoom.

Next season (starts in September) we will be alternating between Zoom and meeting at our (new to us) club house .
Fingers crossed the season after that we will go back full time to meeting at the clubhouse.

No awards for me this year, I just didn’t really bother entering any competitions over the season.
Having won overall last seasonI thought I’d give everyone else a chance
Thank you Jeff, thank you very much

Your a gent standing to one side so that others will stand a chance of winning, a noble gesture, nice one!

I wonder if you could make contact with Rod as he has not responded to any of my messages since his operation 8 days ago. Hopefully all is well with him.

At this time of the year the weather here starts to cool off as our winter months approach, but looking ahead to next week, 26C daily with thunderstorms hot and muggy is forecast, a sign of global warming. I am hoping the UK weather starts to pick up and people can turn their heating off.

I remember one year when we landed at Heathrow on 5th August, the temperature was 29C, what a lovely surprise.

Great photos Jeff of the cats and kittens, do keep posting.
