Now thats a thought, quite a good one really but the flowers would suffer and the wife would not be happy. They keep the grass in the field neat and tidy. Not sure I want lots of "dark pebbles" in the garden.

07 June 2022 11:07 hrs - 25.75 liters 95 octane E10 @ 171.9 ppl
Read about prices up 33p over two days and places selling at 202.9 ppl (petrol) and 204.9 ppl (diesel) I decide to go back and fill the tank to the brim! 07 June 2022 21:10 hrs - 20.4 liters 95 octane E10 @ 178.9 ppl From the same company site. They may have had a delivery in the times quoted but I wonder. Kev |

My local station was 173.9 for petrol and 176.9 for diesel this morning just checked prices as I need to brim mine so will now cost about £6 extra to fuel it. Getting ridiculous I use anything from 2-2.5 tanks per month just for work. I’ll check the other station shortly although for the last few days it’s been 14p more expensive than the jet station. Here this morning put £60 in at £1.799 a litre this afternoon put another £75 in had gone up to £1.899 a litre i am hoping it will start to come down again soon as people just cannot afford to pay these prices and the knock on effect of transport cost will be passed on through everything

I wonder if we the public were to boycott a major chain of filling stations if they would lower their prices?

I doubt it, would need a massive number of people to be actively involved and lets face it most people will continue to drive everywhere regardless of costs. I regularly see people around my estate driving off to come back less than five minutes later as they nipped to Tesco Express or the local Co-op which are a few hundred yards away. Doesn't seem to occur to them that they have lower appendages that are capable of supporting and propelling them beyond the end of their garden.
