Has he given up on here then?
If he has it is a sad loss to the forum - one of the experts on our cars and a really nice bloke too. |

klarzy, marinabrian,philt4,jules, hopefully trikey will return soon.dont want to lose him. There is an awful lot of experience and knowledge tied up in here. A lot of us oldies dont use facebook, for various reasons. All of the experienced members on here eventually will depart, and i know that there will be skills and expertise that will never return. hopefully the club will survive for future generations to come. This shows the importance of the many many files and posts found deep in the archives of this club, which if lost are not replaceable. Long live the club ...

I believe Jules has a band that he spends a lot of time with now. So just keep trying.

He is still going strong on the 75 and ZT.
Very busy indeed and is just about to finish a restoration on a 75 I delivered to him last year for a customer in Hartfordshire. I'll call him to see what contact methods he prefers.

yes i understand what you are saying , and couldnt agree more. My post was aimed more at the longer term , meaning that these members , like the rest of us will be gone ... eventually . i just hope that we have still got enough interest in these cars to keep the mark alive, and most importantly, that the photos and archives are still protected. i realise that some members are active still on the other mgrover websites, which is good news , and also facebook, of which i have never had an account. i hope that the younger generation will still support the marque, in years ahead , not just the MG zt but also the rover 75 model,as the rover is not as appealing to the younger generations. ...
