Default a good anti-spyware/pc clean program

get rid of any dirty bugs you may have accumulated and it's all free.

Install a program called hitman pro, once downloaded, let it run - it will do all the work itself, will install and deinstall software, some are trial versions but don't worry about it. It's one of the best programs out there to get rid of all your spyware and bugs.

I'll provide a link if it's ok with admin

Links are okay providing it's to legitiment sources for the software and that the software itself is licensed by it's authors for free distribution.

I'd switch norton off when you run it. I hate norton though, it uses far too many resources even just running in the background.
If you are on a router, thereuld be no need for a Norton firewall and for anti-virus, there are loads of free programs. But it's upto the individual and their piece of mind at the end of the day.
Spyware is a real problem for many people and a regular clean to get rid of it will help your pc.

spybot is one of the programs hitman uses - it uses loads of them so it's 99.9% spot on in detection and removal.
