Decent bluetooth radio for ZT the works with SW?
Anyone use a half-decent aftermarket bluetooth FM radio which connects directly to the steering wheel controls and works? I removed the Infra-red system on my ZT and fitted new SW controls when I fitted cruise control last year.
Thanks.

See below but you do have to splice the two wires from the SWC to earth and Key 1 then program the functions on the head unit. https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=312548

Thanks for that. I should've said I'm only looking for an inexpensive single head unit rather than a good double-din one with GPS etc. I don't know where the two SWC wires connected to on the original ISO- connected VDO radios.

No worries They do have this one on offer if that is more in your pricepoint?
Looks like the steering wheel control wire colours are blue/orange and blue/purple. https://xtrons.co.uk/bmw-rover-mg-va...-rom-pa7846bip

Assuming it works the same way as mine then it shouldn't matter which way you go to earth but that one looks as though it comes with its own remote that clamps to your wheel?

Ta. It does but I don't want it. It's not clear whether that orange/black SWC wire is designed for the on-board IR receiver or whether it's a generic SWC connection. I've asked the seller but I've got two hopes about getting a helpful answer (Wuhan-based). Presumably though the IR signals will work in the same way as the OEM ones?

Well if it does then it's a bit of a bargain as it should fulfill your requirements.
