It's time to haul my butt upstairs to the scratcher. SWMBO is on night's so I don't have to suffer her farting and snoring ;-).

Catch you again in the morning. Goodnight John Boy and Jim Bob Zzzzzz

Morning chap's, a blustery, cold start to the day here (just for a change) .
Brecky almost served with the morning papers and a catch up on Sky news. I don't know why I watch it, it all seems to be bad news anyway

Woke up this morning to a dusting of snow.
All gone now, thankfully.
I’m about to head to our shop for the last time. My parents have had their shop for more then 20 years and it closes today sinde business is poo thanks to all the larger supermarkets that have taken away our business. It’s a sad day.

Sorry to hear about your parents' shop Rav. Whilst it might appear that it is something of a modern problem, with huge competition from the Tescos. Aldis etc. of this world - I think it goes back a lot longer than that. I was born in a small village, with SIX corner shops. In the early seventies, FIVE of them disappeared, quoting new competition (in our case, a Co-operative Wholesale Society Department Store) as the reason.
I hope your mum and dad can take a bit of solace in the fact that a lot of their customers will miss the shop as much as your family will.

That's sad about your parents shop closing for good Rav. Like our high st here, it's a ghost town with rows of empty shops and barely one bank open, my Co-op bank closed so I had a train journey to the Wigan branch, now that's closing down now.
Bolton branch is too far to walk from the car park for me.

When I picked up my Niro yesterday they asked if I wanted any custom fit carpets....£73 I said not at that price
I got a set of decent quality tailor made ones off ebay for £14 they fit perfect.
