Have you already tried the dimmer control?
When you write 'Hi-Line' do you mean the instrument panel, or the centre console unit? Whichever both vary their brightness depending on the dimmer control (it is below the foglight switch, next to the headlamp aim-height control).

It's the centre console unit.
The display is barely visible in daylight. It's just about OK in the dark but the dimmer control only affects things when the lights are on and can only make it dimmer. There's probably a screen voltage regulator involved but I'd need to get technical with a wiring diagram that I don't have. I was just hoping somebody already had a solution. |
